Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WuCube ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the WuCube website at wucube.com and our application and related services (the "Service"). WuCube ("we," "us," or "our") is a service based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide:

  • Account information — your email address and password (passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your plain-text password).
  • Profile information — an optional display name and preferences (such as default units).
  • Content you create — shipment data you enter, including cargo descriptions, dimensions, weights, quantities, container and equipment selections, packing settings, references, and any company logo you upload.
  • Support requests — the category and message content when you contact support, along with your email address.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage and technical data — basic information such as your interactions with the Service and general log data necessary to operate and secure the Service. We use browser storage necessary for the app to function (such as keeping you signed in and remembering your language preference).

Payment information:

  • When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by our third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record. Your full payment card details are collected and processed by that provider, not by us. We receive limited information such as your subscription status, plan, and billing period, but we do not store your card number.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • create and manage your account and authenticate you;
  • store and process your shipment data so you can use and return to your saved plans;
  • process subscriptions and manage billing status (via our payment provider);
  • send transactional emails (such as a welcome email, password reset, and responses to support requests);
  • respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
  • protect the security and integrity of the Service and prevent abuse;
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your shipment data for advertising.

3. Sub-processors and third-party services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf, subject to their own privacy and security terms:

  • Hosting, database, and authentication — our cloud infrastructure and database provider stores your account and shipment data and manages authentication.
  • Payment processing (merchant of record) — our payment provider processes subscription payments and handles billing, tax, and refunds. Their privacy policy governs the payment data they collect.
  • Email delivery — our email provider sends transactional emails (such as welcome, password reset, and support notifications).

We share your information with these providers only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law (such as the EU/UK GDPR or the UAE Personal Data Protection Law) requires a legal basis, we process personal data on the basis of: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service); our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Service); your consent (where required); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and shipment data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

6. Cookies and local storage

The Service uses browser storage that is necessary for it to function — for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use our site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect standard usage information (such as pages visited, approximate location, and device/browser type) in order to help us improve the Service. This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy policy. We do not use this data for advertising.

7. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls that isolate each account's data and encryption in transit. Our infrastructure provider applies row-level security so that your data is accessible only to you (and, in future, to members you invite to your workspace). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International data transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including by our third-party providers. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update much of your information directly in your account settings. To exercise other rights, contact us at info@wucube.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

12. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, contact us at info@wucube.com.
